Update: went back to see Lily for highlights and extension on Thursday 07/08/2025 I am so happy with the results and it was totally worth the 7 and a half hours. Plus these ladies are funny, their playlist is 🔥 and the service is 💯. Requested style: Lily installed my dreads about 18 months ago. On the 7/08 she added highlight extensions. The process was long but soooo worth it!! Hair type: My hair if fine but she has managed to loc them pretty well!! I love them. Stylist: Lily is the master of her art. She will advise you, and do what she can to make sure you leave with the style you went for. Bella is stunning, confident and careful when dealing with my dreads - fast and accurate! Also very funny 😆

I’ve been visiting these amazing ladies for 8 months now, and my dreads have never felt better. Both of them have worked on my hair, and the care and love they put into each dread is truly incredible. There’s never a dull moment during my maintenance sessions, and their products are reasonably priced too. I’m planning a trip to their Wellington salon soon for a detox and possibly some extra work. If you haven’t had your dreads done by these two wonderful ladies yet, I can’t recommend them enough—you won’t regret it!

Dreads n Locks was recommended by a friend for my sons Dreadlocks. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed that Lily performs traditional locks by hand. She parted the all locks and re teased from the tips right back to the roots, tightening and tidying up each individual lock. Lily is super friendly, welcoming and polite, and is always very thorough, communicating upcoming appointments and arrangements via messages, and is very accommodating.
